Kids in Pajamas

So, this week was supposed to see me posting about M's knit dress (which is still not finished) and her minky dot dress that I made.  But, as anyone who cares to notice has probably noticed, this week has not seen either of those.

What we have had at our house is sick kids.

And not just sick little twins, but also a sick big kid.  D and M have RSV and ear infections.  RSV being a virus, there is not much to do for them except pain/fever control.  Not fun.  W has come down with some sort of stomach thing, so he is not feeling too spiffy either.

But, my cousin brought us pizza, drinks, and snacks!  Maybe things are moving in a better direction now and the posts will get done in the next week.

The Christmas Sweater

Yes, I know that Christmas was just under a month ago, but all of the Christmas knitting did not get finished until now.  Thankfully, D and M are only 19 months old and do not know that their knitwear is almost a month late!  So today, we have D's Christmas sweater.  I used this pattern from Ravelry and paired it with Simply Soft yarn.  I love it!!!  The pattern is easy to follow and quick to knit.  The weather is not very pretty today, so inside pictures it will be.  I can't get him to stand still for pictures, so please understand the action shots!
Playing in the window seems to be his stillest moments.
And, I don't think that I am supposed to be able to see him behind the rocking chair.
M wanted to dress up special too, so I put her tutu over her PJs.  My house almost looks clean in that one!
She has lots of important phone calls to make today!

Have a beautiful day!

Hello!

I have now done it!!!  A blog, just for my stuff.  So now, I can share, with anyone who cares, what is going on in my world, what I am creating, and what I am aiming to create.  We will go backwards first with little M's Christmas outfit.  I made it out of women's holiday shirt that I found at the thrift store.  I used the arms of the shirt for her pants, and the shirt was downsized into a jumper top.
How cute was she in that???  I think it might need to be done with another shirt soon.
